Position: Academic Editor (Freelance)
Job description:
We require academic editors to edit the research documents for clarity, conciseness, and consistency.
The job will be project based, and the editors will be responsible for confidentiality of the document.
For each project, there will be specific deadlines, and the academic editors are expected to meet the deadlines.
Experience: Not necessary (Future matters more than the past)
Salary: Project based (but as per the industry standard)
Required skills (mandatory):
- Sound knowledge of English language
- Expertise in management / social science domain
- Eye for detail
- Proficiency in MS-Office
- Ability to work in close deadlines
Desired skills (preferable):
- Knowledge of referencing styles, like APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE etc.
- Prior experience in editing (not mandatory)
- Willing to learn and implement the learnings
